This is a 2012 documentary about the "spontaneous suicide" of Kathy Gilleran's son.
To the mother the "spontaneous suicide" makes no sense at all, especially because no body had been found.
With determination albeit lack of financial resources, she initiates her own painful quest for the truth.
Unfortunately, however, she hasn't solved the mystery while encountering overt police intimidation, abuse, and homophobia.
Nonetheless, she keeps fighting for the truth even to this day.
I gather that there is a conspiracy---at least the police cover-up.
Someone higher up in the government might be involved in the case.
It is a gripping, suspenseful yet frustrating documentary.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”
