Delves into the many mysteries that remain unsolved in the Harry Potter series, including "Is Albus Dumbledore really dead?", "What are the remaining horcruxes?", and "Whose side is Snape really on?", in a book that presents a selection of possible outcomes.

McMillan Palgrave

The publication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final Harry Potter novel, is probably the most eagerly anticipated event in the history of publishing. Even the smallest hints from author J. K. Rowling about what may happen to Harry and his friends have been major news stories.

In The End of Harry Potter?, David Langford--Potter fan and award-winning writer--delves into the many mysteries which remain unsolved. Is Albus Dumbledore really dead? Whose side is Severus Snape really on? What are the remaining horcruxes, where He Who Shall Not Be Named has stashed his soul? Does Harry bear a part of the Dark Lord's soul in his scar, and is this why he understands Parseltongue?

J. K. Rowling is the only person who knows the answers to these questions. But in this highly entertaining book, Langford uses his deep knowledge of the six published Harry Potter novels to explore these and other mysteries, and to present a selection of possible outcomes.

Only the publication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will lay these questions to rest, but in the meantime, fans of the series will find David Langford's book entertaining and thought-provoking, and a perfect way to refresh their memory of the first six books in readiness for the last.

Evidently most of the earlier commenters neglected to read this books publication that states this book was published in 2007 PRIOR to the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

While the book may be new to our libraries shelves it is not a newly released book.

Well, from what i interpret from this blurb is that it was set to be published or was published before Deathly Hallows came out to help the Potter fans through times of darkness and questions before DH came out.
And knowing that Harry Potter had such a huge fan base, he made a smart move and published something Harry Potter related.
Smart move >.<

I have a feeling this book was already written before the last harry potter book came out based on the description above...the questions were already answered in the last book but this was when the author David Langford was exploring what the possible answers to the fans' questions could be

this book is so useless no offence to the the writer but the answers to those questions have already been answered in the 7 book and the 8th movie when harry collects Snapes memories when Voldemort killed Snape with the snake. if you want the answers to those questions just watch the movies or read the last book it might give more accurate answers than this book no offence once again but the book is no use
