full of fear-mongering. For one thing, as a person with autism spectrum disorder, I can assure you I didn't get it from PVC. Also, many of the "small" changes are impossible for the average person such as redoing your roof green or cool. Even some of the others are, while possible, not small such as replacing your couch with an organic cotton alternative.

I liked the set up of this book. The basics, more info, and/or even more info! Great book to read or just flip through.

Good book for an introduction to environmentalism. The style of writing it witty and easy to read, but can get a bit repetitive after awhile. The first five chapters were definitely the most interesting while I skimmed a lot of the info in the last part of the book. Yet, that could be based on personal preference. Overall, I picked up some great tips for chemically free DIY all purpose cleaners, hand sanitizer and dishwashing detergents, container gardening and how to find out which beauty products are the most natural (Gilbert includes resources which is a nice addition). I would recommend this as an introductory book which is helpful in determining what topics you are interested in and would like to study more in depth.

Good idea; not that great execution. Also overly celebrity-ridden.
