Ava has spent most of the past two years in and out of Seattle mental institutions, shattered by grief and unable to recall the details of Noah's disappearance. Now she's back at the family estate she once intended to restore to its former grandeur. But as Ava's mind comes back into focus, her suspicions grow. Ava can't shake the feeling that her family and her psychologist know more than they're saying.

This was my first Lisa Jackson book and I enjoyed it, I liked the twists and turns and I could hardly wait to find out "who did it." Since I am from Washington state I know what main town she was actually referring to in the book. It was an easy read and quite enjoyable.

Epitomised by it's title.

Some of the twists and turns took me by surprise; I won't say it was the easiest Lisa Jackson book I've ever read, but I have enjoyed all her suspense books. I eagerly await each new addition to her mystery collection.

Very repetitive. Skipped and/or skimmed chapters just to get to the end.

The book seems unfinished to me. I found the story very strange with a lot of unanswered questions.
