Add a CommentBorn (1953) in Chicago, Illinois, USA - (singer/songwriter) Chaka Khan (birth name - Yvette Marie Stevens) has been continuously active in the music business since 1970.
Khan (aka. "The Queen of Funk") has, to date, been the recipient of 10 Grammy Awards.
This "Best Of" CD contains 16 tracks in all which were culled from 12 of Khan's studio albums (4 of which were with the band Rufus) covering the years from 1978-1996.
