For fans of Impressionism, would highly recommend this series. Insightful, interesting narrator who visits various locations where events took place. Lots of background information.

This was such an interesting series. I really enjoyed it and it followed all the major Impressionists and especially my favorites Monet and Renoir. The final disc about the life of Van Gogh was well worth it. It was very thorough and informative. I recommend watching this series.

I found this DVD an excellent study on Impressionism Art. The DVD kept your interest, was very informative and original in it's presentation. It brought the Artists close to you as living men with their genius as well as their problems in their life time.
