Enjoyed this series, it is a shame it was cancelled during the filming of the first season all due to complaints from PETA.

I couldn't get past the first episode. It takes more than sandbox posturing to create convincing characters. Cliches anyone? The sound levels are erratic and not done properly. I thought only the English could be this bad. And the action sequences are all over the place. No regard for the audience who has to follow this chopped salad. Has no one heard of a coherent dramatic arc?

The first and final season of Luck is a drama showcasing the underbelly of thoroughbred horse racing. Ace Bernstein has just been released from a three year prison term. Ace and Gus Demitriou, Ace's longtime friend, chauffer and muscle, develop a complex scheme to seek revenge on Ace's former business partner that Ace holds responsible for his imprisonment. The horse racing scenes in Luck are well done and exciting. Otherwise Luck's overall storyline is mundane and the series characters evoke little sympathy.
