If you were expecting a repeat of the White Hell with this book you will be sadly disappointed. I found it to be filled with inconceivable impossibilities, even for a sci-fi book; which remain unexplained to the end. However, there was something I noted in the authors Dictionary at the end of the book, which may somewhat help you along; apparently the book was being told from the past, present and future, which as I was reading the book, was unaware of until it's end because the words for past, present and future are written or spoken in English, and only appear in the authors Dictionary at the end of the book. This was somewhat helpful to learn, although it would have been more so had it been explained in the beginning, so as not to confuse readers more than you already will be by this tale of time-travel and mysticism with characters whose names change all too often and the annoying fact that the main characters do not even come face to face until more than two hundred pages into reading! And then there's a love interest which takes over three hundred pages to get around to happening, and it's only a kiss! If you have the patience for all of this, by all means, go ahead and read, it actually gets quite good...after two hundred pages.
