I really enjoyed this book and I read it really quickly. The writing is great, really realistic (lots of swears, but in a funny way). A very funny, at times laugh out loud, book about 17 year old Denton who lives in a time when people know their death date, and his is two days away. We follow him through his funeral where he must give a speech, and his Sitting, as he waits to die. Denton is a typical gross teenage boy who goes from being a virgin to cheating on his girlfriend and then sleeping with her in the two days he has to live. It’s a funny book, but I found the ending disappointing and there will be another book in this series, which may be a stretch. Things get a little weird with government conspiracies, but somehow Rubin walks the fine line between cheesy and cool. Loved the book, rolled my eyes at Denton.
