I really enjoyed this book. At first, I didn't know it was about a trans person and I was questioning reading it seeing as I have never read a book with the main character like Amanda Hardy. I feel like I recommend this book to teens or a middle schooler like me. It shows the life and the struggle of somebody different than us and it allows us to be in the character's shoes and see what her life is like as a trans person. I feel like I can better understand people like her more and I can see there ideas and views of there gender identity. This has taught me many new things about people and I also learned the lesson in the story that it is okay to be different and that people should accept them. I rate this book 5 stars and recommend it for a good read and to learn something new through a character people can see had different.
