What makes Jerry Seinfeld's show so successful is his sense of timing. His book is more or less a compilation of the jokes inn his show and one can visualize him saying these lines on air. Regardless of whether one has seen his show or not the book is funny. The answer to his question, "Is this anything," is "no it is not." This book is about nothing in particular yet it strikes a chord with us because it talks of everyday things - we've all been there done that. It does make us laugh.
