Born (1951) into dirt-poor poverty in the coastal village of St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland - Jack Vettriano is a self-taught artist whose style of painting has sometimes been compared to that of Edward Hopper. It wasn't until the mid-1970s that Vettriano initially became fully interested in pursuing art as a potentially promising career. And, it wasn't until he was nearly 40 that his work finally came to worldwide public attention. Presented in full colour - This glossy volume of over 150 reproductions of Vettriano's artwork covers the years from 1987-2004.
