It seems to me this book was written as a vehicle for advertising all kinds of products--from shampoos to health bars. Nothing new: just eat well and exercise. A few interesting recipes, but nothing really exceptional. Some of the advice is ludicrous: “Go down the hall and talk to colleagues instead of e-mailing.” Yeah, business people have heaps of time to fraternize, nothing better to do! Or: “Get up and change the channel instead of using the remote.” Yeah, really worth minus 2 calories. And: "Pace (or at least stand) while you talk on the phone: 20 minutes, 20-99 calories." Twenty minutes?! I guess for the editors of Good Housekeeping, women spend their lives on the phone!
