Great concept, although really the simple idea that you can ride your bike in your normal fashionable daily clothes, as opposed to spandex gear plastered with adverts (I call those types "furottes", from a similar looking character in a show called Les Oraliens in my childhood), is nothing new in most of the world. The idea and this book has much merit in a place like Ottawa where cycling is often more seen as a sport for aggressive males than a convenient mean for anyone to get around the city. Still, the author, who has an influential blog on the theme, is not a particularly skilled photographer, so a diversity of collaborators would have made this book a lot more appealing. In the age of flickr, our photographic expectations have gone up!
