These lists group Easy Readers by five steps. Use them to find books that are at the right level for emergent through newly independent readers. Your child may be interested in books from more than one step or may wish to read the same title many times. Encourage this enthusiasm, even if you think a book is "too easy" or "too hard", as this helps foster a lifelong love of reading and builds reading confidence. Need more?
