Talk about a powerful collaboration. I do not read much in the paranormal genre, but this was one I did not want to miss. It did not disappoint! This ghost story was a sweet love story, a mystery, and a life-affirming tale filled with classic poetry quotes. Here is what I liked: 👨Tate Donovan is a man in need of restoration to his soul. He combines a house design project for a friend with some R&R and meets Wren on Cape Cod. 👩Wren Tobin has been dead for two years, but she does not know it. She needs help and Tate will be the One. Their love story is classic Sparks! 🐈Paulie - Tate's cat and assistant. Catlovers know that feline intuition can be a valuable resource. And do not worry, despite perilous circumstances, Paulie lives a long and happy life. 🎥Book AND Movie - With M. Night Shyamalan on the project, you can expect cinematic brilliance. I can already imagine the jump-scare moments when this story is brought to life on the screen. This might be one of the best since 'The Sixth Sense.' I would love to give this one all the stars as I did really enjoy the story overall. It dragged a bit in the middle with too many night-time scenes covering similar ground. Still one I would heartily recommend to both Sparks fans and paranormal readers. Twilight and evening bell, And after that the dark! And may there be no sadness of farewell, When I embark. ~ Tennyson
