It's another successful case solved in the little town of Shady Hollow.🦊🐻 Here's why I am giving this third installment four stars: 🍂This was a great time for me to listen to this cozy while out walking the dog and working in the perennial beds. Shady Hollow is having some warm Fall days, too. They are appreciating the postponement of cold Winter temps as many of us are here in KC. 🦊Vera Vixen has a real-time case in this third book. Now that we are comfortable with the folks in Shady Hollow it was fun to have her visit another town. 🐻It's election season in Shady Hollow, too. Vera's beau Orville Braun has decided to run for Police Chief. How will Vera balance her reporting on the election while also encouraging her gentle giant of a boyfriend. 🎧I've been listening to this series on audio and Cassandra Campbell does a fine job of narrating. She IS Vera Vixen brought to life. As soon as I finished this book, I put the next one on hold. Looking forward to seeing what happens next in Shady Hollow when I listen to Twilight Falls.🥰
