Reviewed by Sienna H. I really enjoyed the book, maybe three out of five stars, but only because I’m not a huge fan of this genre of thrillers. I read it on Halloween night, which really added to the spook, and it was stormy, keeping me at the edge of my seat. I noticed a couple of simple spacing and grammar errors, which I’ll list. On page 25, it looks like there's no space between I and Run located at the top of the page. On page 64, some dialogue seems a bit strange. It says, “I’ll kill him if wakes up.” I was wondering if it is missing he for example “I’ll kill him if he wakes up.” On page 107, Cass’s dialogue around her dad's pen seems a bit strange; it says, “Only, it was my dad’s.” Which is fine, but she doesn't say anything previously, so I was thinking that the author meant Cass to say either “It’s fine. Only, it was my dad’s” or get read of only entirely. I noticed that the book never really answered the question of why Stephanie noticed the man in the woods, or how they kept seeing things and felt like they were being watched. Finally, I didn’t read anything about Seb or Cass leaving the hut at the beginning before they found the hunting knife, so I was wondering how it got there? Overall, it was a great, blood-curdling book.
