In Mexico City, three lives become connected in the wake of a car crash. Octavio stumbles into the underground world of dog fighting. Supermodel Valeria's injured dog slips through the hole in the floor to a crawlspace below. El Chivo, a homeless ex-radical turned hit man rescues Octavio's dog from the wreckage and nurses it back to health, unaware that it has been a fighter.
